Nice job! Where did you source the latches if you dont mind me asking? Im looking for a pair of latches for a tube door project of my own. Ive seen them in the street rodding industry for around $25-30 per pair. Is this a decent price? Where did you get the red knobbed handle deal?
Again, nice work!

very nice, looks like that wasn't the first pair you have made.
I have been eyeing the bear claw latches for a while, do they fit the striker well or is that what the piece of bungie is for? "anti-rattle device"
Bend tec or just wing it?
I am in the process of drawing some up for myself but now I think I need to change a few things, I like your style better.
I was gonna do the single piece loop like OR-FAB's but yours just fit the lines of the tub so much better.
Tractor supply usually saves the day for odd hardware!

Very nice, I like them!

Are the stock striker plates in the Jeep 5/16 which is causing your rattle issue? Or is it just the quality of the latch?

Looks Great. Good DIY.

On your next set, which Im sure someone will want you to make some, Look into sleeving the hinge end with 1.25 tubing with a 45deg. cut or straight hole saw Notch on the Outer 1.5 tubing. This way you will have a better contact to the hing pin and stronger hold. You just have to make sure you have a clean weld around the sleeve connection or else it won't look to clean after all.

Good Job, Clean Jeep.
