Pictures like this make me think of the scrap piles Stacey David always did when he was hosting "Trucks." The scrap pile for this 'Jeep' would be bigger than the reuse pile!

What's sad is some of those welds actually look pretty good. It's jsut every other aspect of the rig, design, materials choice, etc... is just about the worst a person could come up with.

I mean seriously a set of U-bolts is like 30 bucks. Why on earth would you use old used U-bolts that are way too long, and meant for a larger axle tube???? Then if you are making a *cough* custom frame why the heck don't you make it wide enough so you don't have to *cough* outboard the spring hangers? I won't say nothing about the steering it's just to obvious, but is that a brake line basically laying on top of the header? I just can't see a single thing right with that heep.

I know I'm preachin to the choir, and the 'fabricator' that is responsible for this thing will probably never learn, but I just had to chime in my $0.02.

I can't comprehend how someone can actually make a weld(s) that terrible. My 8 y.o. nephew can weld better than that.

I don't think I would be very proud of that ride. My wife would be quite embarrassed.

Was the buggy in Harlen yellow? If so I know that guy. It embarrasses the crap out of us when he goes with us. I just don't get the guys that don't take pride in there builds. It's like they are trying to prove that they can do the same runs but with out the effort of building a decent looking rig. Not trying to sound "snooty" but he had access to benders and software, is a capable welder, and had plenty of help.

Um no I don't think it was yellow. It didn't have any tubing on it, and honestly it's even crappier than the one posted above. I wouldn't have even gone wheeling with him.
