So got my AFCO radiator. Polished B&M oil cooler will go in front of it.

Tried mocking the front end up nothing really fits. Think a bumper mount is bent, and I probably need an early core support to run round headlights. Some mounts for the bezels aren't there, they don't line up with anything, and the grill fits terrible. And its an OEM one.

So I'm going to wait to build radiator mounts until I have that figured out.

ahhhh, old Japanese core supports. So fun to track down.

I'm building a B2200 right now. Everything has been sandblasted and stripped to bare metal to eliminate 100% of any rust. Core support removed because it just had way too many pockets that hold water to be worth salvaging... now no one seems to sell 86-92 B2200 core supports.

Any suggestions on sourcing one? If I'm going to have to jump through hoops I may as well find a courier one or something and go with rounds.

Oh yeah, still love this shop truck of yours.

Here's a model of the appropriate solution. If anyone could pull it off, it's you!

^Pretty cool. I really like the simplicity of the stock front end though, to be honest. The only thing I have really considered changing is the bumper. Running a different one, or shaving the stock one smooth. Then running the corner markers as blinkers, instead of in the bumper. But I also kind of want some fog lights in the bumper possibly.

Slo nlo, I am not sure if you can buy the core support new anymore. There used to be a place repopping them, but they went under. However, finding them in a junkyard I don't think should be too hard. B2200 are common here, much more than my Toyota.

So the radiator is mounted. I need to run a straightener through the fins. It got pretty beat up in shipping. But I modified the lower hose and built mounts and a fan shroud. Need to add a port for the heater hose.

Simple radiator cover.

Wishing now that I had left the center hole out.

Yeah, they are fairly common here, but like everything else in this climate that is 20 years old and Japanese... rusted to nothing. I tracked one down I think, if not, I'll go Ford Ranger I guess. Thanks!

Keep updating. Your thread is about the only thing that motivates me to go out in the garage lately

Sorry for the lack of updates on this. Life hasn't allowed me any time for my own vehicle projects lately, but things are starting to calm down and I am hoping to find some time for this again soon.

What happened to the pictures? I don't seem to be seeing them. I guess I could have gone blind though... HAHA.

Thats strange, they showed up for me yesterday, but not anymore.

Most of the pictures are hosted here:

They seem to be showing up there, but not here. I am not sure why.
