Hey I am curious if there are any long travel suspension kits or even just beefier suspension kits out there for vw bugs. I would like to some day build an offroad basher but dont know what vehicle to start with. I dont have much money and I have come across many good deals on beetles on craigs list. Any imput would be awesome. Thanks

There're lots of options, both front and rear. Start looking.... Where abouts are you located? You can go anywhere from something with a little beefier tire on it and fresh, capable suspension, all the way up to a crawler with SAS swaps, or a long travel desert buggy. Depends on where you're using it and what you want to do with it.

Well I would like to make a desert runner. Somthing capable of taking whoops and jumps. I'm located in ca, orange county. I know long travel will get expensive really fast so I would probably settle with a decent set up to run through the desert without getting stuck.
