Pretty cool. Thanks for posting that.
We've been experimenting with a very difficult part that we were hoping to MIM. If we can make it work, it'll be a big deal.
The 3d printed (laser sintered) parts that we've made have passed all of our requirements, which is hard because it's a sort of spring.
We've been looking into mass production 3d machines to avoid MIM. We probably won't be able to do that yet but it seems to be coming pretty soon and this one could be a pretty big jump.


The question I'd have about this desktop machine is if it can automate the shrink associated with debinding.
This is a really good way to test a MIM part without all the tooling costs.

If I understand your question and the article, I believe the article mentions that shrinkage is accounted for.
