Thank you sir! Silver lake is 1 hour north of me @ 75-80 MPH..LOL There are a lot of places to ride up near Baldwin MI as well. One of my favorites is the Tin Cup trail... It is a 17 mile loop that is well over 10 feet wide, and its a freaking BLAST on a dirtbike, jeep, quad, truck, or what ever you want to drive through there. Last fall we came up on an F-150 pulling a small travel trailer through there!! It is all state land, so they were headed out to make a deer camp in the woods.... I think it kinda pisses hunters off when we blast through there @ 50 mph with a group of us on loud thumping 4 strokes @ 8 am...LOL

Man that looks awesome!!! That CBR is gonna push that thing like a jet engine on a little red wagon man!! Are you gonna skin it with aluminum like the rails? Cant wait to see the finished project!! 22" of travel out of the front is really good amount!!!

Thanks guys! I do plan on skinning it. I have a bunch of nice cardboard from work to make some nice templates to cut my aluminumn to. I am already thinking of a turbo...The motor has a race tuner, so adding a turbo as far as electronics is concerned would be fairly easy. I just want to get it going first..lol. As for a 4 seater, I have not seen any plans. This could be easily modified to make it a four seater, but I would use a front wheel drive car motor for something like that. I had a conversation with myself of using a Ford Escape 2wd drivetrain...250 hp V-6, 6 speed auto!!! You would loose a little travel in the rear, but MAN WOULD IT HAUL THE MAIL!!!

the motor is outta a 06 civic si that my buddie had all dialed in but got ran off the road into a guard rail in san diego so i salveged it put the high back buckets in my jeep and the motor is just sitting at my dads waiting for me to build something around it its got pretty much everything you could do to the motor plus a greaddy t3t4 turbo a huge intercooler with cryo sprayers and the guys at enginuity said the motor is still under waranty with them and would tune it for free once i get it into the rail the car was fast as hell so im thinking in a rail it will be a neck snapper but like i said my old comp went to someone who obveously needed it more than i did

Check out this... http://www.rorty-design.com/content/...gun_manual.htm

I think with a little redneck engineering, this could be made into a 4 seater... I know there are guys out there that have ran an Eco tec in these with a snowmobile type clutch set up. But if you have the trans and everything, this could work!!

This too could me made into a 4 seater as well...There are a couple of these being built oa some other sites...

Check these out!!

Well, it has been a while, but there has been some work done! My original idea didn't work for the brake master cylinders.. All the shifters are in, seats, steering is working, clutch is bled, harness mounts in, dash is made, fuel tank is made (not mounted yet), radiator is in, radiator overflow is in, and plumbed, RPM breather/ overflow tank is in...WOW, it's close!! I got a little redneck on the filler tube, but I had it laying around, and it has a roll over check ball built in. I have a battery, and the wiring sorted out, so my goal for this week is to make it run!!!

here are the weight stats on fatty..lol
Thanks guys! Here are the weigh in totals...
LF-286.9 RF-291.5
LR-361.5 RR-360.6 Grand total---------1,301!

Now with me and my wife in the car

LF-373.1 RF-359.8
LR-445.9 RR-439.2 Total with 2 people----1,618

This is everyting but some headlights, tail lights, small wiring items, seat covers, and body panels. It had 3 gallons out of 8 total gallons capacity.

Now to figure spring rates...
Each trailing arm/tire/wheel weighs 100 lbs

Each of the front corners weigh 80 lbs.

SO, with 2 people the un-sprung weight is LR @ 345.9, RR @ 339.2
the LF @283.1, and the RF @ 279.8

Thats the one I am looking at right now. http://f-o-a.com/calculator.html .. just cut and dry simple calculator. Pretty much idiot proof. They also have great prices on coils too! I should have things figured out tonight, and order them tomorrow.

I am still waiting for my coils and axles, but the bodywork is 90% done... here are some pictures... What do you think?? I think it needs a wing in the back, mostly to balance the looks out a bit..
