What is a 1930's flathead worth?

I have aquired a 1930's car that was converted to a pulling tractor. It has a ford flathead with everything but the starter and 3 carbs. A manual tranny and a narrowed rearend. All of the peddles are in it and it has the orignal 4 port radiator to feed the double fuel pumps of the flathead.

It is supposed to be free, but I haven't put a wrench on it. I put it on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...cSELL.m315.lVI

And not getting much intrest.

I have seen flatheads go for 400-800, but they are usually freed up and may even turn over. The tractor thing you have is known as a doodlebug. Look up google images "doodlebug tractor" and you will find hundreds of them. A cool old piece of history.

The AB flat heads bring a little more $ and are more sought after. Look on the head for the letters AB. If its there be sure to exploit it in your ads. The first year for the flat head was 1932, The AB's didnt arive until the late 40,s and 50's. It looks like an early flatty... Good luck. Id say if you can get $600.00 for it your doing well. But then again, Im an old dog and have given away more of those things than I care to remember... I think.
