Ya I've been off the OFN radar for a while. It's funny how life has a way of keeping you busier than you'd really like to be.

Yup, it's browns camp. Had a really good time :)
I was trying to get it scheduled into my trip to end up in the Bend area when I was back that way. The individual I was suppose to hook-up with kinda bailed on me. Probably didn't help that I only had a Friday to play , Saturday was needed to make the drive back. I was really wanting to come down that way to play. I was surprised that I didn't break anything at Browns Camp and was really wanting to push my luck a bit further

Unhappy 4runners going to a new home :(

I like to thank everyone who has followed and participated in the information and transformation of my 4runner. I'm sad to say that it has to go to a new home though. (Just my luck too, right after an engine swap and no real time to enjoy that V8)
I found out a while back that I am moving to Japan. Although it's exciting I will have to give up a lot of my toys and projects because there is just no way to take it all. On a good note it has gone to my brother, i'm still the sole owner of it but I would at least like to see it get used instead of just sit. I have built it to be a family rig and I know that he and his family will enjoy it. So for some of you in Oregon, you may be seeing a bit more of this rig playing up in the snow during the winter months up Larch Mt.

My brother meet up with me in Idaho for Thanksgiving where I handed over the rig to him. What a horrible trip, what should have been an 8hr drive took 14hrs, driving on snow and ice cover roads most of the way. Not to mention the 3hr stop due to road closures.

Of course the trade off. Must be nice getting a 1ton'd, V8, double t-cased, locked, 40" tired rig with out none of the build expense to use for 3-4 years.

And away it go's...

Im glad the adventures will continue for your 4runner while you embark on ambig adventure of your own. Japan is a very interesting and different place. Are you in the service? I have been to Tokyo and Tsukuba several times on business and I really enjoyed my time there.

Make sure you brother posts some pictures for us'and you please do the same!

105831 views! Wow, some folks out there in web world have really taken a liking to this build. As I look over the site now it sure has transformed from what it originated from, I have some serious catching up to do.
Although it's grown on me, my time in Japan is nearing an end. Hoping to be a regular back on the board again, dust off some tools and regain some of my fab skills once again :)
