Another Long time lurker...

Hey Guys,

I figured I'd say hi. I have recently started a build to race in the 2017 European Ultra4 series. I started a build thread in the offroad Fab section..

The base vehicle is an LJ70, this one was sat in a damp barn for agood few years before i picked it up.

My Daily driver is an 80, I have a thing for Landcruisers...

I have a little workshop that I get to tinker on them in, otherwise I work in construction in London, UK.

I have made a few bits and bobs for my 80 but nothing too complex. This build will be the first time i have ever built anything like this. I am even going to give the wiring a go myself.

Tool wise, I have the basics covered. I also picked up a JD squared Model 3 bender and a copy of Bendtec so looking forward to getting into the tube work side of things. Coming from a plumbing background has made me appreciate the art of pipe bending, so I am amped to dabble in tube bending.

I had a little play in bendtech but still have alot to learn to get from design to fabbed end product. This is loosely based on the 70's dimensions.

I'll have a loads of questions, so looking forward to picking you collective brains.

Cheers
Thomo
