Tim McAmis Video Series

Here's a link to the Tim McAmis Performance Parts Facebook:

https://www.facebook.com/timmcamis/?fref=ts

He's doing a series of videos as they're building a tube chassis doorslammer drag car. Lots and lots of really good details on how they mount all the components on a chassis, and shows some of his products. Well worth the time to watch!

Yes and no. I don't see the series about building the car step-by-step (I think they're on installment 6 now). All of it is on his YouTube channel, you might have to search around a little, though.

I agree, very well said.

Something I have wondered for some time........do the Chinese even know how to make a good product? Or is everything they make just crap? Even what they keep for themselves?

I always try and buy American made, or at least not made in Asia, but damn it is hard to find such products.

I quit buying Vise Grips once Irwin bought out Peterson Mfg and sent production to China. Now I am always on the look out for good used Vise Grips of all styles

If we look at history from the time that the Japanese started importing generally pure shiite until Mr. Deming(sp?) & others dramatically turned their manufacturing processes around Honda/Toyota made pure stinkum but they made it cheep! We in the USA kept running on momentum and Japan, Inc handed us our arsses.
If the Chinese ever figure out that there is more profit in higher quality goods, like the Japanese did, we will be well and truly fornicated. If they do not, then India will eat their lunch! Ether way we lose!
With US corporations looking only for short term profit and achieving that by buying government; I hold little hope for my Grandchildren's future. This nation will die with the Boomers that sold her out!

Ya, I said it...

Love the slo-mo "do something where you're not going to tear up other peoples' sh!t" for the window lickers that might be following along.
