Posted on my local board... Ive seen this machine first hand... i wish i could get it!

This Miller Syncrowave 250 DX TIG/stick welder is in perfect working condition. Comes with everything needed to get started! Very little hours on machine. Half the price of a new set up.

Wink

Why is it that when selling used machines nobody rarely will post a serial #.

That being the first thing I would want to know.

How does one tell a Syncrowave has low hours ?? I have seen machines less than a year old trashed by employees . 10 year old machines owned by a Mom and Pop shop look brand new.

You are absolutely correct...
ill see about getting you the serial number....quite possibly even a list if all the people that have used it

On a serious note.... call James at the number posted...he's been with the company since its beginning and could tell you the machines history

It's usually Hot, and/or on Grieg's list .. ...

Serial #'s are only good for manufactures warranties and Insurance policies Info.. and you get screwed either way..

On the other hand...

Purchasing a product from 'good' OFN ppl, recommendations, .. 'I would chance'.. just got to ask .. why there selling it...??

Dog you are so wrong

A serial number tells me when it was born .

Who it was first sold to.

If it has any service file history.

Just what the specs were . Like if it was built just for 460VAC

All kinds of interesting things

I am not wrong... .. It tells "you" that info cause your in service..

without a conection 'like yourself' helping others on OFN.. the average blow don't get it... sure as shit my Miller supplier aint going to give up info for not buying a unit from them....hehe

It's like buying a new car.. unless you get ripped from the dealer for them service updates.. there is no history file...

I believe this one will tell you the hours on the digital read out. My Syncrowave will but it's a 200.
