This afternoon, I'm going after a set of Y60 axles. Complete with locker in the rear, 4.625 gears, wheels and tires (Silverstone MT-117 extreme, +/- 35" in good condition) and a set of coil springs, all together for 500!!! I'm a happy man! The work can continue!

The "knuckle" on 200 and Y60 will swap over so you can keep/use all your high steer mods plus the Y60 track rod is totally different and at the rear anyway

That's really good news! My steering system worked great. It would be a shame to lose it...

Yep, previous owner did all the cleaning.
Axles were used on a bobtailed Range rover trophy car project which never finished and is now sold in pieces...
Lucky me!!

Can i swap the manual freewheel hubs of the C200 with the automatic ones in the Y60 axles? Peoples keep telling me the automatic freewheel hubs are a P.I.T.A...

I Never had any problems with auto hubs, they are much stronger than your original manual and no they cannot be swapped without mods..leave them alone,no grease and dont mix up sides, they also have a manual setting which locks them permanently...auto mode wont ever unlock if you have LSD or rigid diff of any kind fitted

4 Link mounts needs to be welded on the axle housing, and a empty housing is easier to handle. Axle gets new bearings and new oil seals anyway...

Tomorrow i will open the old C200 axle to examine the damage of the drive shafts.

ok but Welding is no problem on complete axle(and factory mounts are Perfect for 5 link!!but already modified???)...replace bearings and seals????something wrong if you need new bearings and seals on this axle,IMHO just save yourself time money and grief and just refit original

Axle was already modified. A 3 link Landrover system was fitted.
Not my cup of tea :) and the welding wasn't that great....
