looking for heat shielding

Im trying to find a source for something like this for the vw project. For the firewall and parts of the exhaust tunnel.

My backup plan is to use some adhesive backed stuff from Heatshield Products. https://www.heatshieldproducts.com/hp-sticky-shield

Thoughts?

Would this work? You might contact Thermo-tec and look for dealers.

Or google "embossed aluminum sheet". Here's an option:

In a Reflective Heat Shield application: is having more surface area really a good thing?

I have always just built mine, with just flat sheet-metal; Aluminum for the most part but I’ve also used Stainless. I also generally give the heat side a quick polish and as much air gap behind the Shield as possible.
Not saying that I am doing it “the” right way... heck, I am likely completely wrong! There is just something counter intuitive to a single layer of textured material...

I agree with Entropy. I would build mine the same as for a woodburning fireplace; thin plate with an air gap behind.
