Should I be relieved or concerned that the leak has stopped...?

Replaced the RMS in my Jeep 258 a couple months back. Followed the recommended build threads to a T. Fired it up and it leaked right off the bat, about a drop every 10 seconds.

Frustrated, i walked away from it and haven't touched it all summer. I read about PVC issues over pressurizing the crankcase so I thought I would check that out. Everything checked out fine.

Ran the jeep in the driveway at various RPMs for about a half hour. No leak.

Should I be concerned that it stopped, apparently on its own??

No
You threatened to replace the engine and so now it is behaving...
The RMS on my 429 fixed itself and stayed fixed for about 15,000-miles because I threatened it with the new engine that is on the stand in the shop.
It did finally fail and completely, but the threat worked.

Excuse my brain, what is RMS? The only thing coming to mind is Root Mean Square, which I can't see hanging on an engine....even entropys'

RMS is the reason the Rear Main Seal is failing

Ah, thanks. Must be too much math study.
