snow FLAKE test

The snowFlake test: Some of the questions... I

Outside of standard benefits, what benefits should a company offer employees?
What are your feelings about employees or clients carrying guns?
What are your feelings about safe spaces in challenging work environments?
Should “trigger warnings” be issued before we release content for clients or the company that might be considered “controversial”?
How do you feel about police?
What are your thoughts on the current college environment as it pertains to a future workforce?
You see someone stepping on an American Flag. What happens next?

Are you trapped at home and reaching out for human interaction?????

"Nuke the gay whales."
"I love the smell of napalm in the morning."
“If it rolls, floats, flies or shoots, runs on gasoline or gunpowder, goes fast or shoots a big bullet and makes lots of noise, thus producing torque and recoil — it’s cool.”
"2nd is the 1st Loser"
"Only accurate rifles are interesting."
“No man is competent unless he can stalk alone and armed in the wilderness.”

I have no opinions. Just quotes.

Beware the man who only has one gun. He probably knows how to use it

Here's are some interesting research papers, not on the current college environment, but on the latest generation entering the workforce. This is really focused on the white collar worker, but some may apply to blue collar jobs too.

Millennials in the workplace

Next generation of workers

Mike Rowe has some good thoughts on putting people to work and valuing trade skills / jobs. A lot of people in my sphere don't seem to value trade skills and blue collar jobs on the same level as college educated jobs and I think that's just a horrible disservice. The idea that you have to get a college education to be successful is preposterous. It may be needed for some types of jobs, but you don't need a degree to earn my respect or a good wage.

Ah crap you baited me.

Preaching to the choir buddy. I teach Engineering design (Solidworks) to Mech. Engineering Tech students and Intro to Manual Machining to CNC Machining students at the local college. The problem is at the HS level with the "idiot" counselors and faculty.

My Grandfather was a Tool & Die Maker.
He made more money then the president of the Bank he used.
He wore a "White" shirt and tie as his trades dress.
A different time.
I wish I had known him better, but it was not meant to be.

And no, I intended not to bate anyone.

I just found the OP was funnay in a truthy'sarcastic kind of way.

What are your feelings about safe spaces in challenging work environments?

Isn't that why they put cages on fork lifts to protect the driver?????

I am all for those.
