Talking Keep it Clean...

Never run your phone through the Clothes Washing Machine & do not then run it through the Clothes Drying machine!

Weeeell...

Your way might be more-gooderer!

If you do it the way I did, you get to replace the phone with one that was not washed that way.
The bad part is the phony sellers only want to sell you a smart phone.
I don't have any need for a smart phone.
I do not want to pay that much money for a device that I will likely kill before its time. I have a history
I want a phone that works in my area with perfect audio clarity and that is all I want or need.
In-fact I never used any other features that my now dead, dumb, flip phone had.

I personally only want just a phone, reason?
To use a phone, as a phone only requires that I put on my glasses 5% of the time (as in setting it up), where using the phone as a Internet or texting thing I MUST use my glasses 100% of the time.
I rather often do not have my glasses on my person because the only time I really, really need them is to use reset my phone!

Anywayz, we recycled my wife's several year old semi-smart phone; and I went through and disabled the all the non-phone functions and now the battery lasts days rather then hours, but I can't text, or e-mail, or internet, or bluetooth or GPS or... It does work as a phone... if I go outside... & stand in one spot in the driveway... On one foot

Look on e-bay for a used Samsung Rugby flip phone.

I have one and it has been washed and dried several times. Burned by slag and sparks. Still working.

A long while back we complained about the bad reception at our house with AT&T. With enough complaining they comp'ed us the cost of a mini tower thing that used our high speed internet to supplement the signal. I'm not sure if it just rerouted us to VOIP or what, but it gave us near perfect reception around our house whereas we previously had nearly none. Might be worth looking into.

This I have looked in to but I get to pay for it...
Easier to just leave the phone on the table, and check it at the and of the day.

I needed to get a Phone ?? to receive email for work.

It is a very poor phone does all kinds of stuff I will never use.

If for the fact I had to buy it and it was not cheap I would test the impact qualities
