I need heat in my rental garage!!

Hello all!
Hoping you can help me.

I rent a garage where I store/work on my project(s).
Spring/Summer/Fall are busy with fishing, which leaves the winter for project work.

My place is 20x24, with 12 foot ceilings, in upstate NY.
ZERO insulation and drafty barn doors.
Typical 110 power.

I?ve used a propane salamander in the past. But the fumes are pretty harsh.
Not to mention the sound of the fan and continuous clicking of the igniter make conversation with help darn near impossible.

Since I rent, anything requiring a vent through a wall is out of the question.

I don?t need it necessarily warm, but I do need to take the chill off.

So what are my options?

Thanks in advance!

The propane IR heaters work pretty well, and I'm sure you can find one with a thermostat to keep it from running all the time.
