Son takes up bend tech challenge

Thanks to the kind chaps at bend tech, we have just installed a second seat of our bend tech software on my son's computer. He is working with me full time niow, so it is time for him to start learning the software.
The nature of our work means I rarely do complete assemblies in the software, everything is an evolution of stuff we have already built...
OK, the truth is I am too impatient and time poor to learn that part of the software properly, and the way my brain works best is part by part.
I am hoping that my son will be able to fill in the gaps as it were, and use the software to it's full potential.
If you chaps have any hints and tips not included in the tutorials please post them here. I will log his progress as I am sure it might be of interest to fellow idiots like me who just muddle through

MSP, RC and AP templates from bend tech are one cheat I use ;-)

No tips, but very cool to get your kid started as soon as possible.

Here's a thread I started a while back. I just got a new laptop and am going to reinstall BT so hopefully I will be adding to this thread again soon.

his name is Alex, ans he will be along here soon. Nickname Kitten as he is still a wee slip of a thing at 18 years young. Be gentle with him ,and the occasional saucer of milk will help him on the way.
It is an honour to be working with a son full time, bit of a dream come true. His much older sister is a highly qualified engineer in her own right, but decided to chase her own career (with much success) at Primark , and she makes much more doing next to nothing and staying clean than we do at the workshop. But a man has to do what a man has to do. Dream it, build it
