Bend-tech PRO
I've had it for almost a year, I love it. I really like the assembly feature. I've built a cage for my jeep and a few bumpers. Cris is the man when it comes to customer service too. This product is absolutley incredible.

I picked up Bend Tech SE about a month ago and I have to rate it as my number one find for design software, it's simply awsome.
I have been into fab work of different sorts for about 20 years...

I now have a folder full of tube projects that I can't wait to get started on as soon as I get my home shop done...

I have the Bend Tech Pro. I have yet to actually put it to use because JD2 really hates their customers and feels that 6 weeks is fine to wait after taking my money!!!

I am planning on doing some local cage work and some bumper, rock rails, and tube doors.

I ordered the model 3 and 2 dies. Its going on 6 weeks. Trick Tools was going to call and see whats up. There was a guy on Honda-tech that walked into the new JD2 shop in Tennesse and purchased a bender and dies right over the counter. I understand hes in front of them holding cash but that is bullshit.

I agree it's bullshit... this order since mid Oct and have yet to see one item from JD2, VanSant did send the bend kit that they had in stock very quickly so I have no problem with them except they need to change the wait time on their web site for JD2 products to "who the hell knows"..........

What I did...

After being introduced to this site I found out about Bend Tech. That was probably 2 months ago. I thought about buying the EZ version but then I decided on the 3-D version. It was fun and I kept reading /researching and I thought "I have to have the PRO version" so I upgraded to it this week. So in other words I went from the EZ to the 3-D to the PRO version in less than a month! It is some really powerful software not to mention extremely user friendly! Thanks Cris!
Later,
Brian

Hey guys, new to the board.. I ordered Bend Tech Pro on Friday. Cris has some awesome customer service. I called, didnt leave a message, and in 5 mins he called me back lol. I am not really a fabricator, but I am an offroad enthusiast, I built a jeep from the ground up last year. I just purchased a JD2 model 3 bender with hydro set up from a friend and plan on building a CJ at the end of February.

I don't think I've signed in here yet........

Bought BT pro from Cris several months ago. Using a pro tools 105hd that I've had for 3 or 4 years.
I've just been doin the easy stuff, sliders, tube doors, etc etc. With the Bend Tech I feal confident enough to tackle any tube job that comes at me.

I just bought pro about a month ago. because of moving into the new shop I have not used it much but have bent a couple test hoops just messing around with it. i still need to figure out how to start joining parts to make assemblies... So far so good, I like it and know i will when I learn to use its potential!!!

Have to agree, with with the service Cris provides this is a great product.
Bought BT Pro about a year ago.
Haven't got to use the PT105 bender much, work too many hours but that should change this year with my Zuk update project.

You might want to upgrade to SE. It has X,Y,Z interface.

Bought Pro about 2 months ago. I broke my leg so I'm stuck in design mode till I get better. I've been fabricating for 7 years but will be building my first buggy when I get better, and I can definatly say that Bendtech and all the design time going in is greatly gonna improve the quality of the buggy. With all the problems I've caught in Bendtech I can only imagine how much tube I would have wasted without it.

We have Bend-Tech Pro here @ The Off-Road Armory. I bought the programme about two weeks ago and found it very easy to pick up... Similar workings to CAD... so far I've used it to design and fab a bender cart and a cart for my TIG and Plasma cutter.

Next up is a samurai 6-point internal cage to go in to production... and then who knows where, I have a list as long as my arm of parts I want to put in to production... I'll keep you all posted as to my progress.
