Hey!!! from Michigan

Wow, this forum is amazing, I have been doing some lurking around for about a week, and all I can say is there is some amazing talent and knowledge on here!!! I have been welding since high school and still only dream about the welds I see on here. Hopefully I can get better with your guys help, I have already learned a ton, in just the week that I have been searching!!!! I bought a used lincoln sp-175 mig welder a couple of yrs ago, previously I just had a old arc welder that my grampa gave me, yrs ago. I built many projects with it, but the mig is so much nicer. But since I have been on here, I realize I need to buy some new parts for the welder (and practice more), to get better welds!!!! I also just picked up a pro-tools 105 tube bender, so hopefully I can start building some more projects.

To OFN, great place, good news on the bender, you'll have fun... Don't forget to look into a Bend-tech program.. you will find a definate need for that tool...

Thanks guys, The guy that I got the bender from, gave me a Bend-Tech EZ program, I havent looked at it yet, but from what I have heard it is more of an entry level program (which would be me). I havent used the bender yet, I am converting it to hydro. The guy I got it from gave me a air/hydro pump, and I just got the brackets from pro-tools for the cylinder, and just won a spx power team hydraulic cylinder off e-bay for $153 brand new. So far I have about $700 into the bender, and the bender was brand new, the guy I bought it from, bought it a few yrs ago, with the intention of building a buggy, and his plans fell through, so hopefully I can put it to good use!!! I just need to pick up a few more dies.....

I do believe unless he gave you his computer, the BT program may only work as a demo..The program works on a individual computer ID key.. But Cris "Fabcam" can tell you 100% for sure.. investing in one you cant go wrong .. but look into PRO at the least for a better option....

Cheer'z Bro, again welcome....
