New from TN

I'm new here from Hendersonville, TN. I've been a member here for a while but never posted. I'm an engineer at my day job, but I would rather be doing Fabrication and Machine work. I worked a couple race car shops while in college and was part of the Tennessee Tech Mini Baja team while I was there. I don't really have any projects of my own right now. I had a 60/14 combo for my IFS Tahoe, but sold them to fund more machinery.

I work out of my attached 23'x26' two car garage. 10lbs. of stuff in a 5 lb. bag describes it well.

Diversion tig and torch set

Sharp LMV mill with power drawbar, Mitutoyo DRO and Kurt Vise. It was pretty rough when I bought it, but it works like new now.

My lathe is a 1967 Clausing Colchester. It has all the goodies , 4jaw, 3 jaw, 5c collets and I've also added a DRO recently. I pretty much rebuilt all the gearboxes on the machine and it's in fairly nice shape now.

I just bought a Wilton Vertical Bandsaw last week. No pics of it yet.

Way to clean, You just need to pick something and build it. Nice to have you here.

Thanks all for the welcome.

I'm more interested in building tools right now than building my own car or 4x4. I think my next project is going to be a hydraulically actuated mandrel bender, that can also bend roll cage tubing.

dwibaja - The floor is usually covered in chips, but I do like to keep it clean.

Flatline - More recent pics. When I pull a car or truck in, this place is packed.
