Dimple Die on Plasma Cut Holes?

Can I use a dimple die on holes cut with a cnc plasma,
providing they are the correct dimension?

Ironically, I am doing just this for a project now.

My cnc plasma will not cut a perfect hole, the torch is just to inaccurate.
once the shape is formed the inaccuracy becomes more noticeable

I have flared cnc plasma cut holes with no issues, other than aesthetics.

if you are concerned with how the hole looks, and want to save layout time you could do these few tricks

I found that I prefer to cut the hole .050 under the size and run a unibit back thru to clean up for holes under 1". Or a put in a location hole (1/16) with the cnc, then come back with a hole saw.

you can just barley see in the pic where I will have to clean up the 3/4" hole.
I find that it's still WAY faster to have the machine locate everything for me
