How are you doing (it looks great) with regard to your initial timeline and budget?
I'm no where near my original goals on ether score with time being off by years and I have no idea just how bad I wasted the budget

Sorry for taking so long to respond. I really did not have a timeline other than to get it done as quickly as possible. With respect to budget, I did not really allocate a set amount of money. I sold my old place on a whim and had to move. The idea was to set it up right so that nothing has to be redone. Honestly I thought I would have been moving in by now but it does not surprise me that some things have taken longer than anticipated. I also have spent more money than I would have thought but that is not a surprise either. Some things like the curtain to separate the race rig from the shop will likely wait until I can replenish my bank account. Ill post a new update in a few minutes.

Good update.
The best way to describe when I'll be done with this build is:
"Two Weeks, but I refuse to say which two weeks!"

Looking forward to the lighting as I haven't done any of that yet...

I'll give you a heads up on the lighting:

Here is what I am using in the main part of the shop (work area)

Here is what I am using in the bay for the race rig and in the storage area

New video update. I show partial completion of the metal ceiling and the install of some of the LED lights. Thanks for watching.

New Shop Day 228 February 02 Lights, Shop Ceiling

The LED lights for the main part of the shop:

The T8 replacement bulbs and holders that are under the office:

The website I used to do the light study:

Wondering how many footcandles you need? Here is a good chart:

I am wanting to metal on the sides and ceiling of my shop, but I am worried about the increased sound level and echoes.

Can you tell a difference?

Not really but I went from no insulation to insulated to metal interior in a short time frame. It was really loud inside without the insulation because I am right on a busy road. It was really loud with all the road noise but now it is relatively quiet. I like it and would do it the same way if I had to do it over.
