Model A chopped top

Can you give me any info on what you did with the front posts once you cut the 6 inches out, did you pie cut to fit them, thanks

Hey I got your PM notification and its good to see this old thread still being used once in a while. LOL Shoot me a pic or two of what is going on and I bet I can walk you through it. Headed out fishing and should be back around noon San Diego time on Sunday. I will reply then.

The front of the A pillar should be a perfect vertical fit. Some vertical slicing should be needed to adjust for the slight difference in the width of the a pillar. Just do a vertical slice on both sides of the cross cut. Pinch one side of the slice and expand the slice on the other side until they match. Tack it together, when satisfied weld it up and grind off the excess. If this makes since to you... WONDERFUL. If not post up some pics of the issues and I think we can walk ya through it. Be sure to let us know how it works out.
