Bandit.... I have one here with your name on it if you would like to do a promo deal.

Call me 920-482-3220
Any Australian promo deals? Ha ha, I will need one at some stage to fold 3 mm x 2000mm aluminum sheet. It is probably overkill though, as it is only one fold at either 45 deg or 90 deg. At the moment we are farming it out. I will need a guillotine as well,

Cheers Justin

Right, I didn't know what to call it because if I just said upper plate of steel I didn't know if anyone would know the pieces I was talking about.

This is from Dan Neumann Race Cars on a drag racing forum.

Re: The official "magnetic brake" thread

This thing works awesome for when I make my Lexan scoops. Built one today for a guy in Jersey and used the new brake for the first time with Lexan. It did a great job with it, in fact better than the old brake I used to bend Lexan. This is 3/16" Lexan.

Just wondering if there is anyone in the Hampton Roads Va area that has one of these things? I want one badly. I have projects I could totally use it for, but at the moment I have no space in my shop for any additional tooling... I have to make a few bends here soon and was wondering if anyone would be willing to allow / rent the use of theirs. Its for a personal project, not a paid project.

Here are some other uses of the magnetic brake from a customer from a Drag Racing forum

Got any links? I'm really curious what it's for. It looks like they have a port on the side to sample whatever is flowing through the perforated "pipes". Or perhaps the port is for injecting something?

For some reason the yellowbullet link is blocked by my company due to adult content (odd). Can you explain what those are for?

Ha Ha....I would imagine so............ Yellow Bullet is an unmoderated drag racing forum that is pretty raw. Great fabrication content and racecar fab, but lots of adult language and pictures.

It's a "muffler" for a zoomy header setup. The port is for an O2 sensor to sample a mixture from all 4 cylinders.
