I was over on the REDLINE forum and it was suggested that as a builder of formula cars, Indy cars and Street Rods, but new to Mini Rails or Mini Buggies I should check out your forum. For some reason it has a way of jumping to places I don't necessarily want to be when I'm trying to follow a line of thought, but there is some good discussion over here.

We run a business (RogueFab.com) and this site has been a source of traffic to our web address. We found it in an analytical tool that tracks traffic sources. One of the tools our shop sells was being discussed on here, so we though we would join and answer questions. Plus we like the small forum feel and attitude!

Just dropped in to say howdy to all. I "stumbled" up on the site while searching for a source for tube connectors......cool ! I registered and hope to visit the site frequently to get up to speed on the latest "how to's". I have a good deal of experience with metal fabrication from my military training as an Aviation Airframes Mech.......worked in an intermediate airframes shop. We built any and every thing starting with layout, cut/punch, bend, weld & heat treat. Lookin' forward to seein' what's goin' on !!

Was using BING to search for welding tables and 1 of the links took me to Thebandit's table. Great table by the way. I may copy it.

A Bronco Forum ?

Hey all , I'm a newb here, just found this site on some Bronco forum ??, I couldn't tell ya what it was ? once I found this forum I was up all night.
I've never owned a Ford, and probably never will, I'm a Bowtie guy.
I was picking through some google search on "mounting a cage to the frame".
I'm going to be building like 4 cages, over the next year or so, so figured I better get some education.
I just bought a Baileigh 050 with 1.75" dies and the 250 notcher, still waiting on the notcher.
I sure like what I see here, especially after lurking on Pirate for a few years.
Looking forward to many late nights on this site.
I'll post up under the Welcome thread.
I'm probably going to need some help posting pic's, don't have a clue ?
Thanks

Google led me here...and it looks like I should fit in just fine!
What a wonderful site, filled with very talented fabricators.
I am currently messing with side by sides, so my google search brought me to a thread started by ZTFab, which had cage build pic's.
now, I have been a professional welder for over 30 years and I must throw Kudo's to you ZTFab for caring so much about the appearance of your welds. You take it to an artistic level!
Anyways...I tinker with toys as well. My next project involves putting 2 "Built", Stroked and turbo'ed Yamaha Apex motors into an LX 2000 jet boat, which will bring it up to a possible 1000 hp. After that, I think I will build a baja 1000 buggy. I would love to enter that race with a home built buggy and finish in a decent time.

Now, off I go to read :)

I am going back to school to become a welder (may not work at an automotive fab shop), after years of being an automotive tech. What brought me to signing up was the # of posts, and that this isn't just a 4x4 fab site (primarily may be), but mini bikes (something I've wanted to build for years), and race car sections are here too.

I've been offroading for a while now, but lately I've been either in the pits or on the track at various road course races in the PNW.
