I find myself turning off the news and putting down my various news media.
The drum-beat of the "news" is simply... depressing! I have learned (again) that I can only take just so much bad news.

For myself I have started randomly contacting the people I know; in particular people I haven?t contacted in a while, and basically just saying HI! Hope you are doing well! Yes, I am trying to break the negative drum-beat.

So, I got to thinking (I know dangerous 4-me to do). I figure we have, here on the OFN, a semi open platform to the world. Why not start a contact thread were the members of the OFN can at least say "HI" to everyone, or a specific positive message to the OFN and if you want to, you can simply say HI back, or say nothing, or you can say more.
I've just said enough for now but I?ll toss this out there and see what happens

You mean like TV and radio?
Are those still around?

I gave up on them years ago,
They proved their bias when they made false claims on subjects where I am the expert, so if they lied about those subjects I have no doubt they lie on many others.

Without TV I get a lot more shop time.

Hey, I'm doing really good. Downsizing some of my tools as I'm not as limber as I used to be. Which means I get to pick a couple of dreams and concentrate on them instead of ALL of them...lol.

I did some of that, but have reached the point that I still have "Too Many" but am unwilling to give up any more of them.
