Millermatic 150 Low Power

So, I can weld just fine - for about 5 minutes - and then I seem to be getting about 50% power regardless of the setting and, obviously, the weld penetration is not there. I replaced the sleeve and tip and everything looks clean. Is it possible that the transformer is just getting old? I've had this since new back in about 1994, but it has never gotten everyday use, more like monthly or every quarter.

...simplistically it sounds like something is heating up and causing resistance in a Circuit. I would unplug the machine and take a St-Steel wire brush and clean every connection point that I could without damage.

My 150 is loaded with 0.023 and it is my go to machine
