Yeah dude it's easy.
1) You choose a base coat color (his is blue)
2) then u cut out templates from a flat, malleable material. (I use those disposable cutting boards. They are like 15 mil plastic so the hold up to abuse and still form to your surface. For more ideas check out homemade template making on something like instructibles.com). Make three, four, five or more different designs.
3) Spray using varying colors (looks like he did dark grey, light grey, silver, blue then black).
4) Make sure you don't overspray any wet paint, so it helps to spray one color at a time, let dry and then continue with the next.
5) Just walk around and spray in funky orientations for each template.
6) Make sure you cycle through most or all of your templates for each color or it will come out looking spotted instead of camo.
7) Let me know if u are stepping in what I'm putting down.

P.S. Hope it's not on a Toyota Land Cruiser. Use a Heep.

Vinyl wrap is a very good alternative to make that finish scheme.

You can buy printed vinyl wrap with the design or die cut vinyl and stick it yourself. Also a good thing if you get tired and what a change, you just take it off.

And If you are decided to paint it, you can also use the vinyl as a template and then appli the different coats of paint, then remove the vinyl.

I hope you can upload some pics soon.
