I sometimes wish I could justify the expense of a plasma table. That would be cool to have.

Captain, it changed the way we think about making parts and the new "no limit" to the imagination.

Had some more fun with it making a dual optima offset batery tray for a yj thats been rusting in my driveway for a while. Just need some support pieces and clamping thingy for the top later and it should be sweet.

Designing in 2D takes some effort but we got it on the first try.

What do you guys know about cutting stainless on an air plasma. Is it ok, or do you need special tips or something? Got some requests for stainless cutting but dont know $hit about it. Infact I dont think I have ever done anything to stainless before. Any help would be great.

Cant believe its been a couple weeks already.
First thing would be about the construction and assembly. Its deffinetly quality parts. Its the super erector set. Came with very detailed instructions. Every few pages had a 3d image you could move around to see every part of everything. detailed for every different configuration of tools. Even came with alot of extra hardwear to add more stuff later. Very rigid and sturdy. It will support some several thousand pounds. I bet I could amost ride the gantry its so strong. Everything lined up so straight and perfect without effort. We achieved some speeds during testing that I cant even talk about. Its harmonic balance is incredible, and necessary. Extremely quiet machine. I have just been cutting and watching to understand it more and see that fine tuning the machine will be next. Getting the speeds, height, amps, etc dialed in is essential. Just the bit of screwing around making a few projects has already brought me to the conclusion that this machine needs to be bigger. I find myself already wanting a 5x10. The word of mouth is sturing alot of buisness already, and Im not dialed in yet. I have made some money on some simple stuff and some artsy fartsy stuff, but its will explode soon. What ever size table you think you need, times it by 4 or more. Truth is you have no idea what your getting into till you do. Over all I can honestly say at this point that I have found nothing wrong with this machine, nor any dissapointment at all. Im picky with my $hit I invest in, and besides Bend-tech, this is the best tool investment thus far. I would recomend this machine to all. The lifetime customer support is so valueable. I call them twice a week and they handle it great. Finding new stuff everytime I get into it. Not sure if I answered your question. Got to be specific with me.

Scoot, glad you like it. Also glad you told me that about the size deal, I know I needed to build a minimum 4x8 but you confirmed the bigger the bette. Can't wait to see what you come up with.

Finally cut stainless and it worked out great on the same settings for 1/8 mild steel. It left a super small slag line on top and bottom. It zipped of with a stripping wheel. The cutting process gave off a bit more smoke, and sounded wierd while cutting. The cut edge was good but looks like rust before cleaning.
Some house numbers.

Also got some f-150 bumper brackets made up. More on this build later.
