Two summers ago it was "nuts"...spent every available weekend in a buddy's fabrication shop. We used the mill for just about everything on the sliders and bumper...fit-up was damn near perfect. I learned on a Bridgeport my senior year in college, the kind where you move the belt around the pulleys to change gears, and on a big 4-axis CNC...the name's on the tip of my tongue since my buddy just got two for his shop, but I can't remember exactly.

Since I moved, it went down to Moderate and I'm working back up to Serious . I learned how to run the machines before I learned GMAW or had a bender.

I am in the process of finishing up my shop @ home so I can finish going nuckin futz.
why spend 200$ on something when you can buy 2000$ worth of new equipment & make it yourself.
My wife doesn't quite understand my thinking but i'm sure everyone here does!
This was probably the best 20$ I ever spent.
I hope that new bender & bend tec pro show up soon so I can finish my projects.

You guys are awesome, I have seen some of the best fab ever browsing through this site, OFN & Keith rock!!!

Fab on brothers!

Serious.
All my extra earned money goes to fab tools. I just love not relying on anyone else to build shit I need. Not only off-road related parts but things around the house too We are looking at land to start raising our own food too.
