Bowl Project

Objective:

Student will display the ability to read from a blue print
Appropriately cut and shape aluminum sheet into a specific size, shape, and thickness.

Methods:

Blue prints
Band saw
Annealing
Hammer and dolly
English wheel

Outcome: Student will produce a finished bowl built to proper depth, curve, and thickness.

Step 1: Cut shape according to blue prints. Determine adequate area for loss/gain of materiel through shaping

Next:

Apply heat to make the part malleable. Initially heat is applied all over, once heated then you work each potion as a zone ( keep moving as not to create excessive heat)
