3" tubing bend
Hi , I have to bend one piece of 3" .125 tube one time. No way to justify a new bender and dies for that. I want to get a 90 with about a 18" radius. Any ideas? Help would be appreciated.

Welcome to the forum. What is this piece's intended use? It depends on that.

I have a motorcycle frame to build and this will be the backbone of it, so, it needs to be tidy.

Are you building a bike for Sasquatch! That is some L A R G E tube.
Seriously though, what kind of bike.
As for suggestions for how to bend it, contact a local fab shop with a large capacity roll bender. They should be able to get ya taken care of.

Yeah but noone will have a draw type bender with an 18" radius die so you'll be trying to find someone with a roll bender... or use a smaller tube, or have it be straight.

You could also make 45 degree bend, push the tube a few inches and then make another 45 degree bend if the radius was smaller than requested. Not the same but may work.

Jimmy.
I like your enthusiasm but...
Did you even look at the date of that thread? 2011...
Stop and think, decide if you really need to post into a thread where the last post is years old!
Have a great day!

Personally, I think Jimmy is a bot. He indicated in a different thread he was from Canada but his location [upper right corner of his posts ] is pretty specific, and it's not Canada.
