I finished my Carter bros replica with the 500cc interceptor motor
in it. I am very impressed with the power the kart has. It was
clocked at 74MPH in 4th gear. I had two more gears and a whole lot
of throttle left to go. I am now ready to get down and dirty on the
ST2. I want to modify the chasis to accomidate two seats. I want to
use a gsx1100 or a CBR for the engine. I would really like to get
atleast 120HP from the engine. Has anyone modified the chasis for
two seats? Whats the largest engine someone has used?

That sounds like my Piranha. The only difference is that the Piranha (GS-1000 powered) got up there in like 5 seconds! I was in third with lots of throttle left and like you, I had two more gears to go.

That doesn't mean it'll do 150 though, as the top gears tend be relatively close ratio gears.

Badland is currently designing the 2 seater st2's. One with the
passenger right behind the driver and another side by side. You will
need a bit more motor if haveing a passenger come along. But the
turning radius will be greatly increased on the front to back one.
