Hey guys its been a while. Ive been busy getting the new hot rod seat frame business up and going. Like any start up business there are issues that if known up front one probably would not dive into it. But with a lot of hours and research its starting to pay off. I have decided to cater to the custom builder, The guy that does that over the top channel job, chop, or just off the hook custom that has to have a custom seat built for it. Cookie cutter seats will follow but not just yet. What a learning curve this has been... Floor angles, tranny hump heights and widths drive shaft hump heights and widths, seat riser shapes an sizes and cab dimensions. My head is spinning. Anyway that is my problem! LOL I wanted to show you guys what Ive been building and what they are looking like done. Ive taken the new technologies of seat frame building and design and melded that with the old school look. So you get the ride and safety of a new seat but the retro look when its all upholstered and in the ride. The down side is I put these in boxes and off they go never to be seen again. I call and bug some of the customers for finished pics so I will post up some that I know are my products Here are a few pics. The seat frame in front of the Plymouth pick up in my shop ended up in the Merc in the next pic some where in Florida. Im sending these things all over the world...
And thanks to all of you for all the help over the years! It is appreciated and not forgotten. I love this site and 99.7% of its members, but that one guy... oh well. LOL When ya get a chance check out the new web site. Its in my profile...

A few more... I make most of my seats flip up so electrical and other goodies can be stored under the seat. There is no room in the early cars!

That is some A+ first class stuff all the way!!! I just got some bomber seats for my 28' and know where I will go next time I take on a build!

Those rides are flat out bitchin' and everything flows. Amazing work my friend. Amazing!

I'm going to need a bench for the 57 Tbird that will have to look like the original shape but I need it to give me more leg room.
I'll be in touch probably next spring!

Seems to be a common issue with those years of birds. The stock seats are pretty cool and well made but for some reason they were only made for short people! If it is the convertible if I remember correctly there is a bunch of the top that gets stored behind the seat? I also remember a strange hump it the seat back frame which didn't allow for it to adjust far enough back for a normal sized human to drive. LOL When it comes time maybe just modify the sat back frame? Thinner is better at times?

Thanks so much, If it doesn't work out its not for a lack of trying. I'm eating and sleeping seat frames right now! The hard part is getting the word out on a semi fixed budget... Tell a friend! All Factory parts that I . . . errr. . . 'adjust' will be cleaned, wrapped up, and boxed with the original hardware then placed in storage, just in-case :smokin:
